It has been almost a year since we have seen the "amazing images of the winner of the Siena International Photography Contest 2016"; this is why you should have read the same address these days but with a simple change ... 2017!
The third edition of the Siena International Competition offers thousands of amateur and professional photographers from 161 countries with nearly 50,000 pictures! The categories of the competition varied as usual with suggestive names as seen in the category of "The Tale", "Fragile Ice", "Animals in their Natural Environment", "Charming Faces", "Characters" and other categories.
Along with the published categories and the winning pictures, there was the very distinctive picture of National Geographic photographer Randy Olson chosen by the competition committee as the 2017 image. The amazing image of a flock of turrets flies with alarm as lightning strikes a large sky near a spring of the Wood River Nebraska, USA, taken by Olson in August 2016.
